We are in an election year and Truth is the clear loser. Both sides are doing what they need to do to win. The deceptions are justified by both sides because the spoils are the mandate to lead and be in charge. Here in the land of liberty, the land of the free, the election run-up is nothing more than a virtual field game with a winner and loser. Who wins? The small minority that clearly agrees with the "winner" on most points. If a general pole were taken, Americans may reveal the sense of loss seemingly present in the confusion disguised as straight talk. The American soul has been lost amid materialism, ignorance, greed and sloth. Americans are individuals and while we still have something we call freedom, each individual can make a choice whether or not Truth, responsibility, intellectual growth and dedication to Excellence holds a high place in their lives. If a larger measure of the populace chose on the side of life that reflects these qualities our leaders will change and also reflect the desire and quality of the populace to create a more evolved society equipped to meet the challenges and joys life continues to offer.
As it is now, our leaders continue to create problems and the options for solution are sent back to those who created them in the first place. And the circle of incompetence draws us deeper into the illusion of "everything will be OK" eventually. The darkness is deepening though. Until thinking human beings feel enough pain to come to the realization that the pain can be worked through with attention to a higher, logical and more resolute course of action, only through this means can delusion be cleared and enlightenment and freedom from darkness be attained. The methods are simple and language can be confusing.
At this time the words of Mother Theresa could enlighten. "Do not try to do great things, but small things with great love." These simple wise words address the complexity of our social system which seeks to justify greed by masking and complicating our monetary system with convoluted financial products that even their creators do not understand. The paradox of the whole muddled mess is that the instruments claimed to offer something for those not at the place in life to afford or appreciate , much less understand the offer. Something for nothing provided by the few greedy, for the few undeserving paid for by the many caught in the middle. Everyone is responsible. Greed and incompetence at the top, senses of entitlement at the bottom and lack of attention in the middle as our leaders continue to fall to mediocrity and working people allow it. More simple words can illuminate here. Be conscious and responsible and teach a man to fish.

EXCELLENCE AND NATURAL LAW part one
Can it be we make life difficult and complicated? Lets be simple and go back to the biblical analogy of the "Garden of Eden."
Imagine having it all and just making a pact to observe the natural elements and be directed by that image. Observing the large sky full of the oxygen we need, the clear and clean rivers and oceans..(remember its just an image of before humans came along), the earth providing nourishment and imagine we know about fire. Is abundance a reality? Yes by logic it is. So how do we get back there? Is that possible. How did the reality of abundance become so overwhelmed by the unreality of lack?
This is what we see on a daily basis. The bad news of lack. There must be a way back. The way back is the way forward and must be logical. The truth of nature, not religion or complicated beliefs is the clear director and teacher.
We can create our lives with joy if we choose no matter our circumstances. If each day one awakens remembering a dream, a truth about ourselves can be revealed. Gratitude will open your heart and the mind will follow. A casual observance of a natural item, a flower, the sky, your dog will resonate you into oneness. Starting the day with the pact that you will perform all of your tasks with excellence, with the mind and heart in synchronicity beckoning you to upstage yourself. you will insure growth and peace of mind. You will be preoccupied with your connection to integrity and be uplifted by your unique experience of the day.
Excellence is merely the act of being present in the moment and allowing natural universal law to direct your day. Applying your own individual style to the act and coming back to gratitude will set you free because you are living in truth.
